Our puppies have all been very dark, almost black. Here is the lightest pup sired by Scruffy Dude
Windy Dunes Cairn Terrier puppies love playing outdoors and hanging out with people
Our Cairn Terrier puppies are loved and have days filled with sunshine, play, the sound of the waves and are exposed to daily interaction with people both young and old.

At Windy Dunes Cairn Terriers, we raise AKC cairn terrier puppies. We have previously bred our Female, "Suki Jane" with our Male, "Scruffy Dude". The puppies are amazing!
However in Summer 2010 a tragedy happened. Our Scruffy became sick and was tragically misdiagnosed by our vet - "Oh, he just has a doggie cold". He went from vital and full of life to heaven in less than one week! Call us for the full story if you'd like. But here is a hot tip from someone who brokenheartedly learned the hard way - listen to your vet, but if you have any question at all, get second opinion - right away!
At this point our plans to have further litters are on hold. However at some point in 2011 or 2012 we may choose to have Suki bred again - breeding puppies is just so fun!
If you have an AKC cairn with an excellent bloodline that you would consider Studding with our female, and you are within a reasonable drive of West Michigan, please email us, so when the time is right we will know who to call.
Here is a picture of the late "Scruffy Dude":
Our next litter is planned for Sometime in 2011. Please send us an email so we can let you know when the next litter is coming.

At Windy Dunes, we are fortunate to be able to spend quality time with our beautiful AKC registered adult Cairn Terrier dogs and their delightful puppies. Our Cairn Terrier pups make the perfect family pet, they are inquisitive, smart, hypoallergenic, and make fine companions for hiking or just a walk around the block. We believe that dogs and people should live close to nature, get sand between one's toes and watch the sunset most nights. |
